Dynalene has officially joined the Open Compute Project (OCP) as a Community Member! – Driving the Future of Sustainable Cooling
If you’re not familiar with the OCP, it’s a global initiative that started back in 2011 with the goal of rethinking how we design, build, and operate data centers. At its heart, OCP is about collaboration—sharing ideas, best practices, and even hardware designs to help make the digital world more efficient, scalable, and sustainable.
So, where does Dynalene fit into this? Data Center Specific Coolants for DTC (Dynalene PG-D25 and Dynalene PG-D55) and Immersion fluids (Dynalene PAO-2, PAO-4 and PAO-6).
Data centers are the backbone of our connected world, but they generate massive amounts of heat. That heat has to go somewhere—and the efficiency of cooling systems can make or break both performance and sustainability goals. This is where Dynalene comes in.
For nearly 30 years, Dynalene has been pushing the limits of advanced heat transfer fluids—from low electrical-conductivity glycols to immersion cooling fluids and ultra-low temperature chemistries. Dynalene routinely ships orders of all sizes (from ½-gallon to 100,000+ gallons) to all parts of the world, for varied applications including data centers. Our mission has always been clear: help industries operate safely, sustainably, and efficiently.
By joining OCP, we’re bringing this expertise to a larger stage. As part of the OCP community, we’ll be:
- Collaborating with industry leaders to accelerate innovation in liquid cooling and immersion cooling systems.
- Contributing insights into fluid chemistry, safety, and performance to help guide new data center designs.
- Championing sustainability by supporting environmentally friendly solutions that reduce energy use and extend equipment lifetimes.
We’re especially excited about working with OCP members who are tackling some of the hardest challenges in high-performance and hyperscale computing. Together, we can help make next-generation data centers not only more powerful but also more sustainable.
This is just the beginning of our journey with OCP, and we look forward to sharing updates along the way.
