The Dynalene LC (Low Conductivity) series consists of inhibited glycol coolants for fuel cells, batteries, electric vehicles (EV) and charging stations, motors, computers, electronics and data centers, including products made from ethylene glycol (Dynalene LC-EG), propylene glycol (Dynalene LC-PG), or plant-based BioGlycol (Dynalene LC-Bio). All products in the Dynalene LC series maintain a very low electrical conductivity and offer users a stable and efficient coolant for applications where freeze protection is needed. Our non-ionic inhibitor package protects aluminum, copper, brass, and stainless steel system components. Properly used and maintained, Dynalene LC products can offer excellent thermo-physical properties while protecting your system from corrosion and degradation for years.
To maintain low electrical conductivity (< 5.0 μS/cm) as the fluid ages, Dynalene strongly recommends using an ion-exchange resin cartridge (also called a deionizing (DI) filter or a DI canister) with LC series of fluids. We offer our own product line of suitable cartridges, designed and tested extensively for greater ion removal on our low conductivity heat transfer fluid products. These cartridges can be easily installed in systems operating up to 200°F (93°C). We offer IC-070 and IC-093, which are designed to operate up to 158°F (70°C) and 200°F (93°C), respectively.
